YIPPEE!
On average we calculated that for every ONE tree cut down to help operate our business, we help plant 150 more. (This number varies depending on species of tree & size of the trunk.)
Across the board we have looked at every possible way we can reduce our environmental impact. To better preserve our planet for future generations, we all need to do our bit to tackle issues like climate change, deforestation and pollution.

For every artwork we sell, a tree is planted. This is an awesome way for us all to contribute to the planet.
This is also the perfect way for us to limit our impact in the most obvious way... almost all of our materials are wood based so it makes sense!

Over the next year we are working on implementing motion sensitive lights to our whole workspace to ensure we don't leave lights on.
Our work area encourages letting nature do it's part to keep us warm or cold by opening a window or door so we don't have to use air conditioning.
Our website is hosted by an eco-friendly provider. Not only this, most of our pages are designed with dark pages; believe it or not this actually makes a difference to power consumption.
On top of this we do our best to update our website in large batches, the more frequently you update a site, the more requests are sent to the server subsequently consuming more power.
All of our devices are set to automatically go to sleep after 25 minutes of inactivity, not only does this save the planet, it saves us money too!
We shut down all computers & appliances at the end of the day, plus we don't leave anything charging overnight- we encourage you to do this too!
We are super duper close to being completely paperless. Yep, we know... pretty cool right?
By 2025 we will be 100% paper free.
Why did we choose to do this? Well the first answer is pretty obvious, we're doing our part for the environment, but there are also more benefits than one might initially assume.
1. Reduced Clutter; no filing, no mes

1. Reduced Clutter; no filing, no mess.
2. Faster Access to Information; if we need to find something, we just search our digital documents & it pops up instantly.
3. Better Collaboration; We need to send something to Steve that's a few blocks away, no rummaging in drawers, just send the file.
4. Faster Communication; Our suppliers can contact us instantly & vice versa.
5. Better Backups; Our entire company's documents can be stored in multiple locations on something as small as a laptop or cloud based server. This eliminates the need for shelving etc, if there's a fire or flood recovery from a digital backup is much easier than with paper.
6. Easier Growth; as we grow our offices everything is stored digitally, so no scraping together filing cabinets as we scale.
From supply chain to production, and packaging to raw materials, businesses should ensure everything they do is as efficient, sustainable and green as possible. Green living is for every one of us. The planet is dying and it is our duty to salvage what is left of it. From carpooling to using ‘green’ products, we all have a role or two to play in restoring the planet back to its initial glory. Get on board today. Save yourself and your family. Save planet earth!
